REDBAG WATERPROOFING TAPE is used in combination with waterproofing materials

REDBAG 801 and REDBAG RUBBER SHIELD to ensure reliable sealing of places of concentration

of stress where there is a possibility of cracks, namely at the junctions of wall/wall and wall/floor, internal and

external corners of building structures, exit of engineering communications, insulation of expansion joints, etc.

  • Base preparation

The substrate must be dry, not frozen, strong, able to bear the load, cleaned of dust,

dirt, oils, fats, greases, old paint residues, wax and other substances that reduce adhesion,

have uniform water absorption, and meet the requirements of DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013, DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016.

Remove weak areas of the substrate.

  • Work execution technology

The tape should be placed between two layers of waterproofing material. The first

layer of waterproofing should be applied to: corners of walls/floors; seams, joints of building boards; heads of fastening screws on building

boards; joints of surfaces made of different materials; surface around floor drain; surface around plumbing

fittings. Then apply the tape, press and slightly bury it with a plastic (or rubber) spatula

so that it is completely soaked with the waterproofing of the first layer, and then cover with a second layer

of the same waterproofing material. When joining parts of the tape, a minimum

5 cm overlap should be ensured from the edges, for this purpose apply a waterproofing product to the areas of the tape that are joined together, and

then press the tape firmly so that its perforated edges are completely recessed into the waterproofing layer.

The waterproofing tape is not subject to mandatory certification according to the legislation of Ukraine and the legislation of the European Union. Certified (Krajowa ocena techniczna ITB-KOT-2019/0876 wydanie 3) on a voluntary basis at the institute ''INSTYTUT TECHNIKI BUDOWLANEJ'', complies with the DIN 18534 standard.

Shelf life and storage conditions: 24 months from the date of manufacture in undamaged original packaging, in dry rooms away from direct sunlight, at a temperature of +1 to +20 ˚C.
