Painting non-woven fabric REDBAG 120g/m²

It reinforces the surface well, is vapor-permeable, has no electrostatic charge, is environmentally friendly. It is ideally suited for trouble-free painting work.

  • Appointment

The surface to be pasted must be strong, dry, free of grease, dust, as well as old, fragile wallpaper and peeling paint. Cracks and surface irregularities should be leveled with putty, sanded, then primed *.

    * Prime the bases using REDBAG HOLDERWALL glue, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1, or with REDBAG ADHESIS deep penetration primer.

Previously painted surfaces must first be sanded to a rough surface, wiped off dust and washed with detergent, then rinsed with clean water. For additional prevention of mold and fungus, treat the surface with an antifungal agent.

  • Work execution technology

Painting non-woven fabric REDBAG is designed to prevent the appearance of microcracks in the finishing layer, which arise from the effects of temperature changes and shrinkage of previous leveling layers.

  • WARNING!

Attention! The front side of the non-woven fabric is facing the inside of the roll.

Mix the REDBAG HOLDERWALL glue, do not dilute it. The relative humidity in the room should not exceed 70%, the air temperature should be from +10 °C to +30 °C. Avoid drafts during gluing, as well as during the subsequent drying of the glue for 24 hours.

Measure a piece of non-woven fabric along the height of the wall with a 50 mm margin for leveling. Apply the REDBAG HOLDERWALL glue in an even layer on the wall surface with a roller or brush. Usually, the glue is applied to the surface to a width of 1–2 panels of non-woven fabric. Glue the measured piece of non-woven fabric to the surface. Make all necessary adjustments to the position of the canvas until the glue dries. Glue the next piece of non-woven fabric into the joint. If the base absorbs moisture slightly, the working time is 20–25 minutes. However, the glue should not be dry when gluing. Press the canvas tightly to the base with a plastic or steel spatula, pressing the joints of the canvases last. Trim the edges of the non-woven fabric with a knife and spatula. The material can be puttied or painted 24 hours after gluing. If using non-woven fabric with a density of 65 g/m2, leveling with REDBAG VERITA finishing putty is required after gluing it, if using non-woven fabric with a density of 120–150 g/m2, do not level with finishing putty after gluing it.
