REDBAG 801 - the mixture is intended for seamless waterproofing of any mineral surfaces (including plasterboard partitions) in various heated or unheated rooms with high humidity (baths, showers, etc.). It is used for sealing the internal and external surfaces of tanks and swimming pools, as well as for sealing basement walls from the outside of foundations.

Preparing the base
The base must be dry, not frozen, strong, capable of bearing loads, free from dust, dirt, oils, greases, old paint residues, wax and other substances that reduce adhesion, have uniform water absorption, and meet the requirements of DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013, DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016. Remove weak areas of the base.
The concrete base must not be subject to shrinkage after applying waterproofing, therefore, when finishing, it must be no younger than 3 months from the moment of laying the concrete, and the residual humidity of the concrete must be below 4%. Bases made of cement screeds, cement, cement-lime and gypsum plasters must have a residual moisture content below 4%.
Before applying REDBAG 801, the surface should be moistened, preventing the appearance of a continuous water film, but in no case should it be primed.

Cooking method
Pour the REDBAG 801 dry mix into a container with clean water (at the rate of 3.6 - 4.05 l of water per 15 kg or 240-270 ml per 1 kg of dry mix), mix using a construction mixer until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed. Leave for 3 minutes and mix again.
Do not add other materials to the prepared solution.
Attention! REDBAG mixes are created on the basis of modern high-tech recipes using the latest additives from world manufacturers.
When preparing the mix, use water only in the volume indicated on the packaging!

Work execution technology
Work should be carried out at a base temperature of +5 °C to +30 °C. The amount of water is regulated depending on the technology of work: when applying with a spatula, it is necessary to mix 15 kg of dry mixture REDBAG 801 and 3.6 l of water; when applying with a brush or trowel, it is necessary to mix 15 kg of dry mixture with 4.05 l of water.
Apply the prepared mortar mixture in a thin layer to the base with one of the specified tools. All vertical and horizontal, external and internal joints of walls and floors must be reinforced with alkali-resistant, waterproofing tape. After the first layer has completely dried, a second layer of waterproofing mixture REDBAG 801 is applied in a perpendicular direction to the previous one. The hardening time of the first layer of the mixture depends on the nature of the base, temperature and relative humidity of the air and is approximately 3 hours. Ceramic tiles can be laid and the putty mixture can be applied 72 hours after the second layer has been applied. Do not apply a primer to the waterproofed surface before applying the finishing layer.

Mixture consumption
from 2.8 to 6 kg/m² (based on 1.4 kg per 1 m² with a layer thickness of 1 mm).
*The mixture consumption depends on the unevenness of the base and the skills of the performer.
REDBAG 801 mixture complies with: EN 14891 class CM01P and Ts.1.GI1 DSTU B V.2.7-126:201
