REDBAG ADHESIS– ready for use inside and outside buildings, vapor-permeable, alkali-resistant primer, which is designed to penetrate deeply into mineral substrates and bond them. It is applied effectively, does not run down the walls. It contributes to achieving excellent adhesion of the coating applied to the substrate. It creates an adhesive layer, and also levels and reduces water absorption of the substrate for reliable high-quality fastening of subsequent layers, - screeds, plasters, putties, as well as finishing coatings, - ceramic tiles, wallpaper, paints.

It penetrates the substrate perfectly, does not flow down the walls or splash, bonds even weak and loose substrates, creates a film, levels and reduces water absorption of the substrate, improves adhesion to the substrate, is vapor-permeable, and alkali-resistant.

Preparing the base
The substrate must be dry (residual surface moisture should not exceed 4%), not frozen, strong, capable of bearing loads, free from dust, dirt, oils, greases, lubricants, residues of old paint and meet the requirements of DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016. Remove weak areas of the surface.

Work execution technology
The temperature of the air and the substrate to be treated until the primer is completely dry should be within the range of +5°C to +30°C, and the relative humidity should be up to 80%. The temperature of +20 ± 2°C and the relative humidity of 55 ± 5% are the most effective for applying the primer. Under other conditions, the drying time of the primer may change.
The primer REDBAG ADHESIS is ready to use. It is recommended to mix the primer immediately before carrying out the work, then apply it evenly, without diluting it with water, using a brush or paintbrush to the surface.
In order to verify the need to apply an additional layer of primer, 2-3 hours after applying the first layer, it is necessary to check the condition of the surface by wetting the base and assessing the ability of the base to absorb water.
Following operations with the surface treated with the primer should be carried out only after it has dried no earlier than 3 hours. The time interval between the end of the drying of the primer and the start of the next work should be as short as possible to avoid the settling of construction dust on the surface of the base.
After carrying out the work, immediately rinse the used tools and containers with water. Do not add other materials to the primer.

from 0.15 to 0.25 kg/m² (depending on the water absorption of the substrate).
