Fiberglass is used for pasting pre-plastered walls and ceilings indoors to create a perfectly smooth surface. Strengthens the surface, if necessary, levels it, prevents cracking of the plaster and the appearance of microcracks. It is used on walls and ceilings with increased requirements for a flat (smooth) surface and crack resistance.

Preparing the base
The surface to be pasted must be strong, dry, free of grease, dust, as well as old, fragile wallpaper and peeling paint. Fill in cracks and surface irregularities with putty, sand and then prime*.
- Priming of the bases must be carried out using REDBAG HOLDERWALL glue, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1, or REDBAG ADHESIS deep penetration primer. Previously painted surfaces must be sanded (sanded until rough), dusted and washed with detergent, then rinsed with clean water.
For additional prevention of mold and fungus, treat surfaces with an antifungal agent.

Work execution technology
Mix the REDBAG HOLDERWALL glue and do not dilute it with anything. The relative humidity in the room should not exceed 70%, the air temperature in the room should be from +10 ℃ to +30 ℃. Avoid drafts during gluing, as well as during the subsequent drying of the glue, namely 24 hours. Measure a piece of fiberglass along the height of the wall (length of the ceiling) with a 50-millimeter margin for leveling. Apply the REDBAG HOLDERWALL glue in an even layer on the surface of the wall (ceiling) using a roller or brush. As a rule, the glue is applied to the surface to a width of 1-2 fiberglass panels. Glue the measured piece of fiberglass to the surface. Make all necessary adjustments to the position of the panel while the glue is still dry. Glue the next piece of fiberglass into the joint. If the base does not absorb moisture well, the working time is 20-25 minutes. However, the glue should not be dry at the time of gluing the fiberglass. Press the fiberglass tightly to the base using a plastic or steel spatula, pressing the joints of the sheets last. Trim the edges of the fiberglass with a knife and spatula. Puttying the fiberglass can be done 24 hours after gluing.
