Preparing the base
The substrate is prepared in accordance with DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016. The surface must be dry and strong, without visible damage. Before applying the putty, the surface must be cleaned of dust, deposits, oil stains and other substances that reduce adhesion. The surface must not have sinks, cracks, or differences with a depth of more than 2 mm. Paint coatings that are loosely connected to the substrate must be removed. Cement, cement-lime, and gypsum plaster substrates must have a residual moisture content below 4%. Such substrates have high moisture absorption, so after cleaning, before applying the putty, they must be treated with a deep penetration primer REDBAG ADHESIS.

Work execution technology
Putty REDBAG FINISH CREAM should be thoroughly mixed for 2 minutes before application. Then evenly applied to the surface with a steel trowel or semi-trowel and distributed in an even continuous layer. Application is carried out in several layers, the next layer is applied after the previous one has dried. The maximum layer thickness is 2 mm. Do not moisten the putty with water during the drying period. Excess uncured material can be washed off with water. Hardened putty can only be removed mechanically. The drying time of the putty is 8 hours. Complete drying is not earlier than after 24 hours. Drying time increases as the temperature decreases and the relative humidity increases.
After the first and second coat of coating, the surface can be sanded manually or by machine with sandpaper, P80 - P150, no later than 3 days after application.
Putty REDBAG FINISH CREAM cannot be mixed with other materials (paints, plasters, etc.). Do not use tools or containers that rust.
Work should be carried out in dry conditions at a temperature not lower than +5 °C and a relative humidity not higher than 80%.
