REDBAG INTERLACE CONCENTRATE – a vapor-permeable, alkali-resistant, red-colored primer-concentrate, which is created on the basis of the latest polymer dispersion, does not contain solvents and volatile substances and is intended for internal and external treatment of hygroscopic surfaces (with intensive water absorption), such as aerated concrete, foam concrete, gas silicate, shell rock before applying gypsum and cement mortars.

Creates a reliable layer that does not dissolve under the influence of moisture from subsequent layers of building mixtures. Therefore, it reduces and evens out the water absorption of the base. And therefore it promotes uniform drying of gypsum and cement mortars, and ensures their reliable fixation on the base.

Primer REDBAG INTERLACE CONCENTRATE can be applied mechanically or manually.

The substrate must be dry (residual surface moisture should not exceed 4%), not frozen, strong, capable of bearing loads, free from dust, dirt, oils, greases, lubricants, residues of old paint and meet the requirements of DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016. Remove weak areas of the surface.

The temperature of the air and the substrate to be treated until the primer is completely dry should be within the range of +5°C to +30°C, and the relative humidity should be up to 80%. The temperature of +20 ± 2°C and the relative humidity of 55 ± 5% are the most effective for applying the primer. Under other conditions, the drying time of the primer may change.

For the treatment of hygroscopic surfaces (with intensive water absorption), such as aerated concrete, foam concrete, gas silicate, shell rock, the primer REDBAG INTERLACE CONCENTRATE must be mixed before use, and then diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 and mixed again.

To prepare the floor screed for pouring the self-leveling mixture(for example REDBAG 333, REDBAG 335) the REDBAG INTERLACE CONCENTRATE primer must be mixed before use, and then diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 and mixed again.

It is recommended to mix the primer each time before carrying out work. Apply the primer diluted with water evenly to the surface using a brush, roller, paintbrush or mechanized method. Do not apply undiluted!

Following operations with the surface treated with the primer should be carried out only after it has dried no earlier than 12 hours. The time interval between the end of the primer drying and the start of the following work should be as short as possible to avoid the settling of construction dust on the surface of the base.

After carrying out the work, immediately rinse the used tools and containers with water. Do not add other materials to the primer.
