REDBAG INTERLACE – a vapor-permeable, alkali-resistant, red primer, which is created on the basis of the latest polymer dispersion, does not contain solvents and volatile substances and is intended for internal and external treatment of hygroscopic surfaces (with intensive water absorption), such as aerated concrete, foam concrete, gas silicate, shell rock before applying gypsum and cement mortars.

Creates a reliable layer that does not dissolve under the influence of moisture from subsequent layers of building mixtures. Therefore, it reduces and evens out the water absorption of the base. And therefore it promotes uniform drying of gypsum and cement mortars, and ensures their reliable fixation on the base.

Primer REDBAG INTERLACE can be applied mechanically or manually.

The substrate must be dry (residual surface moisture should not exceed 4%), not frozen, strong, capable of bearing loads, free from dust, dirt, oils, greases, lubricants, residues of old paint and meet the requirements of DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016. Remove weak areas of the surface.

The temperature of the air and the substrate to be treated until the primer is completely dry should be within the range of +5°C to +30°C, and the relative humidity should be up to 80%. The temperature of +20 ± 2°C and the relative humidity of 55 ± 5% are the most effective for applying the primer. Under other conditions, the drying time of the primer may change.

The primer REDBAG INTERLACE is ready to use. It is recommended to mix the primer immediately before carrying out the work, then apply it evenly, without diluting it with water, using a brush or paintbrush to the surface.

Following operations with the surface treated with the primer should be carried out only after it has dried, no earlier than 12 hours later. The time interval between the end of the primer drying and the start of the next work should be as short as possible to avoid the settling of construction dust on the surface of the base.

After carrying out the work, immediately rinse the used tools and containers with water. Do not add other materials to the primer.
